Please note when you book an event on this site with your credit card it will be debited immediately even though the event may be some weeks away. Your reservation will be confirmed by email.
Using the online payments facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this payments facility and contact the main office for alternative payment methods. We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a user quoting an incorrect account number. We cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier (due to the user quoting incorrect card details or other reasons). If the credit/debit card supplier declines payment, the Institute is under no obligation to bring this fact to the user's attention. Users should check with their bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from their account.
Any information displayed in this Online Payment Facility in respect of an amount due from the user is for guidance only. The definitive amount payable will be notified to the user via the relevant office within the Institute.
All payments made through this Online Payment Facility must be made in Euro (€). Any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in making the payment or in processing a refund shall be borne by the user or the third party making payment, and shall not be deductible from the amount due to the Institute.
Confirmation of Payment
You will receive a confirmation of your payment by email as well as an on screen confirmation after you make the payment. The payment of any sums intended to be in respect of Fees by or on behalf of the user does not in itself indicate the existence of a contract between the Institute and the user which contract shall only come into being when the Institute has given notification of acceptance of the relevant booking or otherwise by the Institute. In the event that any payment made via the Institute’s online payment system is to be refunded (either fully or in part) the Institute will endeavour to make the refund to the card account or bank account from which the refundable payment was made. If, for reasons beyond the Institute's control, refund cannot be made to the originating card/bank account, the refund will be made to the user.
The Institute shall not be liable for any failure by the user of this online payment system to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons or otherwise obtained by such other persons, during the Online Payment process or in respect of any omission to provide accurate information in the course of the Online Payment process.
The user should check their statements and records carefully. If the user believes a transaction is wrong or unauthorised the user should contact the Institute immediately.
