Northern Ireland Committee


The NI Chapter held it’s AGM in the Reform Club on 31st March with the following Officers elected for 2010–2011

·  Treasurer:  Mr Vincent Campbell

·  Events Co-ordinator:  Mr Jarlath Kearney

·  Chapter representative to the Branch:  Mr James Golden
 
Committee meetings are held on a regular basis and are currently open to all members. If you have a particular course or topic for discussion you would enjoy attending, or propose to organize, the Committee would welcome your input.
 

Committee Profiles:

   Mark McAllister, Convenor Northern Ireland Chapter CIArb Irish Branch
  Mark is a Senior Employment Relations Officer with the Labour Relations Agency based in Belfast.
  He is from a legal background specialising in employment law and is an accredited employment mediator.
  Mark is a regular speaker on the employment law circuit in Northern Ireland and frequently delivers lectures
  on pending changes in employment law, conducting employment investigations and bullying in the workplace.
  He is a strong advocate for the use of mediation for resolving disputes in a variety of contexts and does
                        voluntary work in the area of community mediation.


    Jarlath Kearney, Deputy Convenor Northern Ireland Chapter CIArb Irish Branch
    Jarlath is a Quantity Surveyor who specialises in construction dispute resolution.  He has represented 
    clients from all sides of the construction industry dealing with procurement issues, claims preparation,
    conciliation,  adjudication and arbitration.  Jarlath has extensive experience in adjudication and arbitration
    and has represented parties in over 80 cases.  He is a Fellow of the CIArb.

 


  Vincent Campbell, Treasurer Northern Ireland Chapter CIArb Irish Branch
  Vincent is a Contract and Claims Consultant specializing in Construction related matter. He comes from a
  trades background with over 40 years experience of the industry and provides expert analysis and
  representation for local and international clients. Vincent is a Chartered Builder and Fellow of the CIArb.
